Colorado Sports Physical Therapy was founded in 2018 by Dr. Cathy Campbell, PT, SCS, after she spent nearly a decade practicing with nationally recognized sports and orthopedic practices in New York City.
Dr. Campbell relocated to Colorado to provide the same level of excellence and individualized care to one of the nation’s most active communities.
Since then, the practice has expanded to include:
Sports and orthopedics injury recovery and prevention
Pelvic health, including bladder/bowel, chronic pain, perinatal, and gender-affirming care
Pediatric orthopedics
Advanced strength and conditioning programming
Return to sport progression
Musculoskeletal care for complex medical diagnoses
Worker’s compensation and no-fault
We strive to provide patient-centered care to meet the needs of our community in an empowering and positive environment. At CSPT, we know that no two injuries are ever alike and we create an individualized treatment plan for each patient. We use techniques like manual therapy, exercise, and activity-specific training to create an experience that meets each individual's specific needs.
Rehab
Rehabilitation is the foundation of physical therapy. After injury, surgery, or childbirth, we can treat your impairments and give you the skills to restore you to function. Whether function for you is competitive sport or taking care of your family, our staff is equipped to get you back to it. We’re experienced with conditions from simple ankle sprains to complex pelvic pain to neck injuries – and everything in between.
Recover
After an injury, giving birth, or surgery, your body needs to recover before it rises to the next challenge. We can teach you to recognize the signs your body gives you when it’s time to push forward and when it’s time to give yourself the active rest you need. Knowing more about your body makes you a better athlete.
Prevent
Prevention of future injuries is key to living an active lifestyle. If you’ve been injured before, you have a higher likelihood of getting injured again. We can help you prevent future injuries by identifying areas of challenge, especially if you have a big event in the future. Check out our programs page for specific offerings related to prevention and long-term recovery.
